Works closely with senior leadership to manage strategic and business development initiatives.
Facilitates and manages multi-disciplinary teams on large projects that directly affect organizational growth.
Leverages leadership and analytic skills to facilitate the transformation of conceptual ideas into operational reality via processes of business case assessment; project conception, planning and execution.
The Ideal Candidate
Business development and/or business consulting experience in healthcare.
Demonstrated experience managing complex analytical and strategic projects.
Polished presentation skills – both written and oral – that meet expectations of senior executives and clients both internal and external to the organization.
Capable and comfortable with working independently to lead projects through to implementation.
Experience working in an academic medical center.
Advises and consults on new business development opportunities.
Synthesizes input from key stakeholders to complete business case assessments, including complex market analyses and financial models.
Organizes and facilitates cross functional teams to develop and execute on plans to operationalize business opportunities.
Presents recommendations to senior management to gain approval; then develops and manages project to implementation.
Credentials and Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Health Administration, Business, Finance, Public Health or related field
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience within healthcare or finance
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in strategy, planning, finance or business development that is applicable to business development activities within the healthcare environment.
Minimum of four (4) years and proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
