The System Director of Program and Service Development is responsible for formulating short and long term strategies to ensure the organization's vision, mission and values are carried out through outreach efforts and relationship building with medical providers and healthcare organizations within the care delivery area of Mount Nittany Heath.
Collaborates with system leadership, administrative directors, Physician Group administrators and physician leads to identify potential new medical providers and healthcare organizations to develop a business relationship for system clinical services and programs.
Develops a comprehensive plan for engaging new business relations and maintaining current relationships, including initial and ongoing communication with medical providers and healthcare organizations.
Responsible to lead and direct practice and service valuations and acquisitions.
Works with the Executive Vice President on all aspects of external provider and payer strategic relationships.
Assists with the development and coordination of population health initiatives and innovative payment models
Works with external clinical care delivery partners to identify program and service development opportunities.
Leads market, financial and operational analyses to determine the feasibility of program development opportunities
Minimum of 7 years healthcare administrative management experience, including direct experience working with clinical services/service lines and physician practices.
Demonstrated business development work experience.
Marketing experience desired, but not required.
Exceptional interpersonal skills

Proficiency in financial analysis and management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database software
Exceptional organizational and planning skills
Work effectively with department directors, medical providers, and leaders of healthcare organizations.
Willing to use personal automobile for work related activities with mileage reimbursement.
