SVP, Brand Strategists collaborate with creative minds, and business leaders to form a multi-disciplinary team. Together they transform client challenges into creative opportunities; they help the agency deliver great work. SVP, Brand Strategists help shape the strategic dialogue and help craft key strategic documents and presentations. They apply curiosity, intuition, and analytical rigor to discover valuable insights. They apply imagination, passion, and engaging storytelling to bring strategic ideas to life. They also help build trust with our clients and help demonstrate that strategy can inspire creativity and move the needle on our client’s business.
Lead the strategic planning for all healthcare clients, which include health insurance and hospital networks
Provide thought leadership on the culture of healthcare in the U.S., demonstrating a passion for the category and key insights into both consumer and provider current issues and legislation impacting the country
Develop and maintain relationship with creative teams and the brand leadership team
Define the target audience and understand their motivations; bring them to life for everyone
Write and Design Brand Strategy Platforms in collaboration with clients and agency team
Write Creative Briefs in collaboration with agency team; brief creative teams and maintain dialogue as they develop ideas.
Consult with clients as they design research projects (quantitative and qualitative)
Motivate the team as they work with clients to evaluate the effectiveness of creative ideas in the marketplace; this includes copy testing and monitoring brand health metrics
Experience, deep industry knowledge and passion for health care system, hospital network, health insurance and/or health cause categories
Strong analytics; data and business analysis, quantitative and copy testing experience. Experience interacting and presenting to C-suite level clients
Track record of influencing great work and enhancing creative excellence. Can reference and show outstanding work that they have been integral in developing.
Decisive, with the ability to bring things to a point of view and course of action
Ability to be a catalyst and activator, particularly with the creative team (can wade into the fray)
Exhibit confidence and persuasiveness; be willing to express a point of view, get people on board, and demonstrate persistence
Exhibit excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
Have 15+ years of strategic planning experience or agency/marketing experience
New business experience a plus
