Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls, WI.
The next President and CEO HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital is charged with leading the organization and maintaining the strong momentum and focus on achieving excellence in service and clinical quality. She/he will embrace the mission and ministry of HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital and HSHS and be a member of a highly-collaborative, integrated system and team. The next President and CEO will have a strong record of building close working relationships with the community, physicians, colleagues and working collaboratively with the Board of Directors. She/he will communicate a clear and compelling vision and roadmap for the future and inspire the Board, physicians, colleagues and the community to work collaboratively toward that vision. The President and CEO will have the ability to translate the future vision for the hospital into an executable plan focused on safety, quality, performance and growth. She/he will play an integral role within the Eastern Wisconsin Division for HSHS and will work collaboratively within the Division and across a highly-matrixed organization.
We seek individuals who are inspiring leaders, team-oriented and results-driven. It is critical for the next President and CEO to have experience in leading an organization that provides high-quality care while driving change and maintaining a focus on serving the local community. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building physician relationships, have a service-orientation and have a demonstrated ability to foster a culture of engagement across the organization. With the significant presence of the hospital in the community, the President and CEO is expected to be very involved in Oconto Falls and the surrounding communities, which offer a wide array of vibrant activities and opportunities. Candidates will be Catholics in good standing, with experience in faith-based and highly-matrixed team environments preferred.
A Master’s Degree in a Related Discipline, such as business or healthcare administration is required. Five (5) years of healthcare administration experience is required. The President and CEO must be a practicing Catholic who will lead HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital in a manner that reflects the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services. Fellowship status in the American College of Healthcare Executives is strongly preferred.
