We are recruiting for a Business Development Project Manager to join our Hospital Division in Louisville, KY.
Provides project management support for projects assigned related to sales and marketing as well as business development,, ensuring that approved projects are implemented on schedule with a high degree of quality, within budget, according to specifications, and to the customer's satisfaction.
Depending on area assigned, incumbent may perform some or all of the following accountabilities:
Following project management methodology, standards for tools, rules and deliverables, assembles and leads the project team on approved projects. Consults with management and develops project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources.
Coordinates recruitment or assignment of project personnel, assigns duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority, and ensures project progresses on schedule.
Facilitates the scheduling and planning of project meetings as required.
Works proactively with other departments such as IT, Corporate Development and Capital Procurement to ensure projects have resources needed and deliverables met on time.
Participates in monthly department meetings and helps identify areas in need of process improvement and will develop specific strategies and plans to help streamline.
Responsible for tracking and monitoring new business development projects.
Will support the sales and marketing team with planning and development training programs.
Will assist with presentations for new division initiatives, quarterly sales campaigns, and sales training programs/projects.
Maintains processes and archiving of key information related to management of sales team as well as training modules through learning management system.
Actively monitors the status of all project activities, including budget and other department activities and participants involved in the project.
Provides weekly project status reports.
Chairs project team meetings.
Proactively manages project risks and issues.

Knowledgeable of the project life cycle and key components of project work.
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
1-3 years project management experience, preferably in an information systems setting.
Experience with applications and tools that support project management tracking and reporting.
