The Assistant Chief Financial Officer position is a newly created, system role designed to provide financial leadership to drive optimal performance and support growth objectives. The Assistant Chief Financial Officer’s initial priorities will be to oversee accounting functions for the system, develop and improve budgeting and financial reporting processes and alignment, support the Chief Financial Officer and contribute to financial and strategic planning, and enhance the financial management structure of the system to drive efficiency, accuracy and performance. The Assistant Chief Financial Officer will work closely with leadership across the system to position Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium as a financially viable and sustainable contributor and vital resource to the Alaska Native and American Indian. The Assistant Chief Financial Officer will work with business leaders across the enterprise in evaluating financial productivity and avenues for improvement and growth.
Ideal candidates must have at least seven years of healthcare financial management experience, preferably within a hospital and large ambulatory settings. Proficiency with general cost accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, auditing and internal controls are required. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with a Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred.
