The Director, Network Strategy is responsible for organizing and project managing Network-wide strategic planning engagements, provide strategic planning support to Health Ventures group and its Divisional President, provide strategic planning to support the Physician Enterprise and its EVP, Divisional President/ leaders.
Develop and refine ambulatory strategy Network-wide and by Hospital territory
Facilitate ongoing development of Network strategy through existing Development Committee’s
Partner with senior leaders (EVP, CSO, President’s, VPs) to assess needs, define business questions, translate business questions into analytical frameworks and develop-deliver strategic solutions to internal clients
Optimize hospital clinical service distribution
Track and report on strategic initiatives (Network, Cascading) in collaboration with Strategy/ Business development staff
Support the alignment of system-wide strategic planning processes across research, academic, health ventures and clinical enterprises
Support the organization with ongoing optimization and growth of current markets, while expanding HMH’s footprint through partnerships and/or acquisitions
Develop and execute work plans and serve as a key strategy advisor to SVP Strategy/Business Development, CSO, Senior Executives, management team, and multiple constituencies across all divisions of the organization
Professional development of direct reports and contributing to a learning and transformative Strategy/ Business Development team
A Master’s degree in business, healthcare or related field is required. Educational concentration/ specialization in healthcare strategy and business development is strongly preferred. 5-7 years progressive experience within a large, complex, multi-entity and matrixed organization is required. Prior health care industry experience is required.
