This is an executive level position responsible for identifying and evaluating new and existing services and markets to increase stakeholder value through increased market share, expanded geographical reach and strengthened organizational brand. This includes understanding industry trends, and monitoring market share, volume shifts, external competition and internal capacity in order to strategically plan/forecast project viability and present strategies for growth. Other responsibilities include: collecting and comparing information, preparing analyses and business proposals, evaluating partnership opportunities, developing relationships, presenting strategies for expansion and developing, coordinating and implementing action plans. This position is also responsible for overseeing the marketing/communications/public relations functions.
Position requires a minimum of five to ten years’ healthcare operations, marketing/business development and project management experience. Excellent project management, organizational, planning and interpersonal skills as well as outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations is a key aspect of this role.
Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Business or related field is required; MBA preferred. Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) highly desirable.
