The GW Medical Faculty Associates Department of Medicine is seeking a Vice President, Clinical & Financial Operations. This exciting new role is responsible for the oversight and coordination of all clinical, educational and research operations within the department. Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience in:
Leading complex physician practice operations in an academic setting
Leading practices through significant growth/change initiatives
Collaborating with physician and staff leadership on advancing innovative policies, protocols and practice guidelines related to patient care
Establishing effective working and professional relationships with and between physician practices, hospitals, and medical schools
Analyzing operational procedures and data to drive performance improvement
Empowering and supporting physicians and staff in providing outstanding, quality patient care
The Vice President will demonstrate superior leadership skills and have a passion for building and sustaining high performing teams, as well as a commitment to patient care.

Candidates will have at least 10 years of closely related experience, the majority of which should be practice management in an academic setting.
