The Manager, Financial Reporting is responsible for managing theprocess associated with all financial reporting for Cedars-Sinai MedicalDelivery Network including Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation and affiliatedmedical groups. In this role, the Manager assists the organization in ensuringaccurate financial reporting by overseeing the financial reporting process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Manages all Financial Reporting to includeCSMCF and Affiliated Stand Alone Groups
2.Manages Financial Analysis Team to ensureaccurate, informative and timely reporting of financial data and forecasting
3.Manages the preparation of monthly RVU vs PSAanalysis for all Affiliated Groups
4.Manages the preparation of physician employmentPL's, healthplan PL's, CSMC Full Risk Analysis, ad hoc analysis and otherfinancial reports as needed
5.Oversees preparation of IBNR accruals usingfinancial modeling
6.Oversees preparation of FFS Accruals to ensureaccurate revenue and AR balances
7.Assist in the financial modeling oforganizational strategic goals and initiatives
8.Assist with the preparation of all Stand AloneFinancial Reporting Packages to include PSA analysis, Dashboard and RVUAnalysis.
9.Communicate and explain financial issues andguidance to management teams
10.Ensure internal controls over financialreporting are effectively designed and executed
11.Assess risk and evaluation of the reliability,consistency and integrity of financial information in collaboration withexecutive management team
12.Assist with development and implementation offinancial reporting policies and procedures for MDN including the developmentand maintenance of Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
13.Assist Executive Director of Finance andexecutive leadership team on special projects that require financial analysis
14.Provide training to staff on financialreporting, processes and systems
