Job Summary: The Quality/Performance Improvement Project Manager is responsible for the daily planning, management, coordination, and execution of key initiatives / projects. This is a key facilitator and collaborator role supporting initiatives to build consensus and manage project activities/objectives. This includes collaboration to ensure successful planning, implementation, and adoption of strategic objectives with various teams. In addition, the Quality/Performance Improvement Project Manager reports to and works with the VP of Quality to ensure consistent project management methodology is maintained across all initiatives. Supports patient safety program with oversight of Event Management system to ensure full and efficient system utilization, data analysis, reporting and trending. The Quality/Performance Improvement Project Manager will also be responsible for supporting and monitoring RWJBH's high reliability journey, called Safety Together. This includes projects and tasks within root cause analysis, leadership development and individual and team behavior expectations.
