OverviewThis position facilitates and ensures the consistent application of standardized professional practice across the facility in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. This position also acts as an interdepartmental liaison to influence professional development in a manner that supports the safe, evidence-based, patient-centered, efficient and cost effective delivery of department services and resources that impact direct patient care.

Position Available: Monday - Friday 40 hours per week 8 hours per day
ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a minimum of 6 years’ clinical experience, and a minimum of 4 years of management experience. Must possess subject matter expertise in professional practice nursing standards and scope of practice regulations.
Must demonstrate clear understanding of human relations, shared leadership principles, adult learning theories, complex systems principles and basic business principles as related to health care delivery in an acute care setting. Must have a successful track record in the design and implementation of new programs. Requires the ability to create collaborative working relationships. Must demonstrate analytical, problem solving, project management, critical thinking and organizational skills. Requires effective coaching and negotiation skills along with strong presentation and group facilitation skills.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
