Valley Children's Healthcare is seeking a Manager of Employee Health to support the overall health and wellness of all patients seen in the Employee Health clinic. Employee Health sees employees, volunteers, non-employee workers and providers offering services that include new employee health screenings, annual health assessments and the limited treatment for personal illnesses. The Manager is accountable for assuring quality medical care for all types of patients seen during hours of clinic operation.
Position Details and Responsibilities:
Directs the nursing service activities for the entire Employee Health department
Responsible for legal/regulatory compliance for all related programs (i.e. Bloodborne Pathogens)
Included in the scope of responsibility is the administrative oversight of injuries in the workplace to include coordination with workers’ compensation carrier, case management, and analysis and trending of data
Work collaboratively with other departments such as Recruitment and Medical Staff
Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience
Minimum of two (2) years management or supervisory experience
Minimum of three (3) years occupational health experience is preferred
Active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN) is preferred
Occupational Health Nurse/Specialist (COHN S) certification is preferred
