The Field Supervisor provides emergency services to a wide variety of patients in varied locations and conditions. The Station Supervisor must be capable of functioning at any time of the day or night. High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's preferred. Exposure to hazardous situations and environments may occur in the course of routine operationsPhysical Demands of thePosition: Standing, walking,running, sitting and stooping, kneeling, bending/twisting, reaching, grasping, Communications (talking, writing and hearing),far vision (100 feet or more), near vision (10 inches or less), Carrying up to 50 pounds of equipment up to halfa mile on uneven ground, Safely lifting,carrying, pushing/pulling patients up to 100lbs on their own or 200lbs withassistance, Any change in an employee's physical condition that would prohibitor alter their ability to perform their job duties must be brought to EMSAdministration immediately. Ability to perform during an emergency forprolonged periods, Ability to react calmly and speak clearly in crisissituations, Effective communication, oral , written, and computer skills. Abilityto follow policies and procedures, Read, write and speak English, Ability toread a map and have basic knowledge of State, County and other public roadways,Ability to perform duties in stressful and sometimes life-threateningsituations.
