Position responsible for oversight of EVS operations on 2nd and 3rd shift.
Provides leadership and management of overall Environmental Service (EVS) operations per assigned function in an efficient and cost-effective manner to meet Geisinger needs. Collaborates with assigned staff as well as the Supervisors, Managers, & Directors of EVS & clinical departments to provide effective product and services at a reasonable cost.
Performs duties to support the goals and objectives of Geisinger in its efforts to provide quality patient care and patient satisfaction.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Health Services, or related field required. In lieu of degree, 6 years of experience in the field may be accepted.
Minimum 2 years of lead or supervisory experience required.
Previous experience in environmental services within a health care setting preferred.
Certified as a C.H.E.S.P. (Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional) by the Association for the Healthcare Environment of the American Hospital Association preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is typically performed in an office, clinical or classroom environment.
Possesses the ability to stand for long periods as well as to walk long distances.
Travel within the health system is required for meetings and system functions.
Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and a safe driving record required.
