This position oversees and coordinates the organizations learning and assessment programs that enrich workforce strategies and efforts including learning platform designed to support the strategic direction of the organization. This role is responsible for learning & training solutions that support employees individual and role-based learning and training needs. This position is responsible for employee assessments falling within the employee lifecycle (pre-hire to post Banner).
Assesses climate and culture of the organization, makes recommendations to meet key initiatives effectively. Acts as a scout and change agent in support of cultural changes within the company. Effectively establishes partnerships with corporate entities, strategic services, entity leadership, administrative teams, system initiative work teams and others as appropriate.
Supports learning design and training effectiveness efforts by conducting needs assessments and gap analyses. Utilizes data from key indicators and evaluation methodologies to direct focus and provides recommendations to help clients meet goals and strategic objectives. Evaluates assessments to determine gains in knowledge and skills, application and transfer, and overall impact/ROI.
Initiates, develops, and implements learning opportunities tied to strategic organizational outcomes and initiatives.
Works with learning and assessment vendors to provide solutions and enhancements to existing technologies and platforms. Is responsible for the operation of the learning management system (LMS) and assessment platforms.
Works closely with HR business partners and other L&D team members to deliver learning solutions that provide the core knowledge and skills necessary for strategic business growth. Ensures education and training programs are aligned with other Learning & Development initiatives. Co-designs and delivers core curriculum for employees that emphasizes core success factors, capabilities, and behaviors required for success.
Adheres to established leadership competencies. Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers of Banner Health with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day.
Coordinates the organizations learning and assessment programs by developing learning and training solutions and employee assessments falling within the employee life cycle including Pre-hire and or developmental assessments measuring talent and fit, employee engagement, leadership effectiveness and organizational culture surveys and exit interviews.
Bachelors degree in a related field (human resources, organizational development, human resources development, organizational behavior, management/business administration, organizational psychology).
Requires five years of progressively responsible experience in learning and development and/or assessments. Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in learning design and development, instructional design and delivery; demonstrated ability to work successfully with leadership teams. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other assessment technologies. Ability to plan, develop and coordinate multiple projects. Adept at working effectively in a matrix environment.
