Works as a lead technology solution expert to a specific business functional area continually evaluating the set of application systems and recommending improvements to both systems as well as business process work flows. Works with external Systems Vendors to implement software solutions. Works with external business partners (Provider’s & Employer Groups) to create business systems that allow for efficient operations.
Responsible for the supervision of System Analysts, Business Analysts and Technical Analysts reviewing, analyzing, creating, and modifying system analysis and design. Includes facilitating testing, debugging, and understanding integration points to support the organization’s software applications. Responsible for the review of work flow redesign. Works closely with vendors and internal staff to assist in enhanced system designs and deployments.
Receives general supervision from Director or management designate.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum eight years’ hands-on work experience in leading aspects system design, build and work flow redesign, managing projects in a lead role required, or combination of eight years of working on successful related IT and non-IT projects.
Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required. Minimum of eleven years’ hands-on work experience in leading aspects system design, build and work flow redesign, managing projects in a lead role required, or combination of eleven years of working on successful related IT and non-IT projects.
Understanding of the complexities in designing and building integrated applications and understanding and recognizing the integration points and pitfalls of this type of design required.
