As the Guest Services Manager, you will be responsible for creating and providing educational opportunities to enhance service excellence among our employees, volunteers and medical staff, working with the leadership to team to ensure all existent and new service projects are in place, establishing measurable outcomes and metrics for customer service, facilitating projects and programs to enhance and improve customer service and service excellence, researching, developing, promoting and implementing best practice initiatives and opportunities to create systematic customer input and feedback mechanisms for the organization, and working to improve and maintain Kootenai’s workforce culture.
Some of the core focuses of this role include; relationship development with staff, key players within the hospital, and external community partners, partnering with departments on current projects to move them forward, and continually researching healthcare and employee engagement best practices and upcoming trends/initiatives to ensure the organization’s and our employees success.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
Bachelor’s degree required with an Emphasis in Social Services, Psychology, Communications or Human Resources preferred
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience. Proven experience in the hospitality or health care field preferred.
Experience in managing projects and/or department(s).
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal and organization skills, and a highly professional demeanor.
Preference is given to those with hospitality or hospital experience
CPXP certification preferred, or attained within 12 months
