Seeking an Assistant Director for our dynamic Health District – one who will bring successful management experience, understanding of key health issues, and a strong commitment to being a key part of the foundation of a fast-paced organization providing diverse health services to improve the health of our community.
The Assistant Director is responsible for directing designated Health District Programs, and overseeing the following functions of the Health District: Human Resources, contracts and compliance, legislative and regulatory analysis and input, resource development, planning and implementation of special/new projects or programs, and more. Key tasks include program development, management, and evaluation; staff supervision and management; budgeting and financial management; application of personnel/HR practices and laws; planning; policy and procedures development; staying informed about issues impacting community health and health services.
Starting Salary: $120,000 to $127,000 per year DOQ

Requirements include a Master’s degree in relevant field (e.g., health or human services administration, public administration, public health, social sciences); at least two years prior experience at the manager or director level; and at least three years prior experience performing essential duties in a health or human services setting. Special consideration given for significant experience in HR, familiarity and experience with legislative processes, comprehensive understanding of relevant health issues, etc.
