We are recruiting for a Central Business Office Business Analyst to join our Hospital Division Finance Team.
The CBOBusiness Analyst will be responsible for supporting Hospital Division (HD) Revenue Cycle by helping to improve quality, consistency, and efficiency within the Central Billing Office (CBO). The primary responsibilities include: performing quality assurance (QA) verification for collections processes, developing test strategies and test cases for operational systems used within the CBO, executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on all systems, writing business requirements for system enhancements, developing training materials for all operational systems, and training CBO resources on standard policies/procedures/processes (including use of all required systems).
Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; ability to write business requirements
Responsible for performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system regression testing to support system development/enhancement projects
Creates test scenarios, write test cases, and executes test cases
Independently performs quality reviews for CBO processes
Creates training materials for operational systems utilized within the CBO
Trains new & existing CBO associates on standard processes and system functions
Writes standard policy and procedure documentation on approved processes
Documents business processes and facilitates discussions and recommendations for improvements
Proactively identifies improvement opportunities based on industry and competitive trends and analysis of current processes and barriers
Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
Communicates effectively and appropriately with key Revenue Cycle Management, ETO, Project Managers, IT, and the CBO on opportunities and progress
Ability to communicate with various levels within the organization
Analyzes processes and initiatives to achieve established goals; provide analyses and recommendations if corrections are needed; investigates to determine areas of opportunity
Maintains & updates Standard Work Documentation for CBO Processes
Maintains & updates the training Documentation for CBO Processes, and other Revenue Cycle departments when requested.
Performs CBO Quality Audits for Billing, Collections, and NRI Processes, producing an independent score for each CBO
Acts as project coordinator on selected initiatives, documenting project phases and creating summary reports when requested
Liaise with operations, IT, and Revenue Cycle Management to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives
Ensures standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
Collaborates with key management and associates from all affiliates to assist in the design and implementation of processes and procedures keeping quality and performance at the forefront
Uses group skills to lead the group to consensus, effectively solve problems, and accomplish tasks
Proposes new approaches, methods, or technologies enhancements
Works cooperatively with others to produce innovative solutions
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned
Attends required training and meetings as needed

Travel required up to 15%
Education : Bachelor's degree or sufficient experience in related field
Experience : 5+ years of experience in healthcare required; 2+ years UAT experience
Licenses/Certification : Lean Six Sigma Green Yellow Belt preferred
