This position will have responsibility for day-to-day support of the field communications team including but not limited to media monitoring, reporting, professional writing to a broad audience and other tasks as assigned to support hospital business initiatives.

The communications specialist will be responsible for implementation of media monitoring platforms, ensuring timely reports each month for corporate office and field teams, project management and other reactive communications activities at the direction of senior staff. This role will also support the senior director in other projects as assigned.

The role will require you to do significantly more than report and write; you must be a compelling storyteller, fun teammate and a creative partner. You should come with new ideas for communicating effectively to a diverse and diffuse workforce.

Media Monitoring

• Knowledge of various monitoring platforms.
  
• Assist field team in analysis and reporting.
  
• Responsible for corporate media report (monthly and as-needed).
• Must be able to manage various vendors at the same time.
  

Writing:

• Draft and review materials to support the business field initiatives and activities.
  
• Draft materials which will be seen by senior leaders.
  
• May be asked to proofread a variety of documents.
  
• Work with manager of content and engagement on shared ideas and projects.
