Job Title: Manager, Clinical Transformation Location: Danville, PA Department: Geisinger Health Plan Work Type: Full Time
Job Summary: Responsible for the assessment, design, development and implementation of education programs and processes to transform member care for all related lines of business. The manager oversees a team that works with Physician leadership, Executive Administration, Internal coding, Provider Network Management, Population Health and Operational teams. Supports all quality documentation initiatives for multiple hospital systems and over 2,500 physicians in the Geisinger Health Plan Network. This manager will be responsible for driving industry change associated with value-based outcomes through quality documentation

Education / Experience: Bachelor's degree in business or health care administration is required with 5 years related supervisory experience required. Or Master’s degree in business or health care administration with 1 year related supervisory experience. Or Minimum of six years related supervisory experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Additional requirements: • Coding certification (through AAPC or AHIMA), such as CPC/Certified Professional Coder • 8 years’ experience in practical coding and appropriate electronic health record documentation • Certified risk adjustment coder (CRC) through AAPC
Preferred: • Certified Documentation Expert- Outpatient (CDEO) preferred through AAPC • RHIT • Facilitation of a coding curriculum in an advanced educational setting
Possession of a valid driver's license and must be willing to travel at least 30 percent of the time required
Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Work is typically performed in an office environment. Travel is required
