Sentara Healthcare is currently hiring an experienced
Director, Corporate Strategy & Payer Markets
to work in their Corporate office in Norfolk, VA!
Requires a strategic thinker with broad and deep understanding of all sectors of the Healthcare Insurance marketplace. (including Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, models of CMS Innovation Center and other APM programs).
This role requires continual research of Macro trends and their impact on Sentara’s markets from a customer needs, competitive dynamics, regulatory and overall market lens.
Must be able to create data-driven insights from research and analysis to support actionable strategic direction. This will be represented in clear and succinct communication via position papers, impact analysis or formal presentations.
Acts as liaison to engage both Sentara’s Provider Based Divisions and Optima Health when creating and developing Strategic and related Business plans.

10 years of Strategic Planning within the Payer Segment (preferably with a Healthcare Insurance Company)
2 years of manager or supervisory experience
Additional background of 5 years in at least two of the following: Data Analytics/Visualization, Healthcare Finance/Managed Care, Healthcare Operations (P&L responsibilities), CIN/ACO Leadership, Healthcare Insurance Markets, Healthcare Consulting
