You Will Be Responsible For:

• Organize and prepare journal entries, miscellaneous cash entries and reclassification entries for the review of the Regional Accounting Manager. Assist with closing the ledgers each month and at year end, i.e. preparing and posting accruals and reconcile balance sheet accounts. (General Ledger)
• Assists in researching questions from Management teams relating to monthly responsibility reports.  Reclassification entries made as necessary. (General Ledger)
• Assists the Regional Accounting Manager to ensure that monthly regulatory, corporate and internal deadlines are achieved.  (General Ledger)
• Assists with preparation, proofing, assembly and organization of monthly financial statements. (General Ledger)
• Assist Senior Accountants with capital inventories; mid-year and year end audits, cost reports and corporate checklists; preparing and analyzing accruals; and any other areas to help meet deadlines and resolve problems. (General Ledger)
• Assist Senior Accountant with inter-facility and department allocations, billing and reconciling. (General Ledger)
• Assist in reconciliations to detail subsidiary ledger records. (General Ledger)
• Assists Regional Accounting Manager with day-to-day operations when necessary. (General Ledger)
• Accurately processes all direct deposit requests.
• Assists A/P and P/R in researching cash reconciliation items with the Corporate cash reconciliation team.
• Handles special projects and other duties as assigned or as needed. (Audit and Corporate Compliance).
