Description IT Security Specialist - Senior AdventHealth Information Technology Location Address: Orlando, FL Top Reasons To Work At AdventHealth Corporate · Great benefits · Immediate Health Insurance Coverage · Career growth and advancement potential · Award-winning IT Department Work Hours/Shift: Full-Time, Monday â“ Friday You Will Be Responsible For: · Provide for the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of ADH Information Assets · Use and Optimization of security platforms and services that impact vulnerability management · Use approved security technologies to ensure servers, workstations and other assets that are deployed within the ADH environment are compliant with IT Security Policies and Appendices, including: · Established Security Baselines · Data Handling Procedures · Periodic scheduled and on-demand scans · Industry/Vendor-specific vulnerability remediation · Provide customer engagement, activity measurement, and project facilitation where needed to ensure the remediation of vulnerabilities · Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including application owners, teams within AIT Information Security and Technology Infrastructure teams · Performs vulnerability research, analysis, categorization, and communication of risks · Ability to translate requirements into reporting through dashboards, metrics, and other methods, including: · Effectiveness and efficiency of security service delivery · Operational and Executive level reporting · Environment Groups (Application Ecosystems) · Environment Group Owners · Application dependencies · Targeted historical analysis · Recommended Improvement Opportunities Qualifications KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: · Knowledge of Vulnerability Management processes & procedures · Knowledge of Patch Management processes & procedures · Understanding of enterprise data center operations · Understanding of enterprise endpoint operations KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED: · Knowledge of data security frameworks in Healthcare · Understanding of the threat landscape facing enterprise healthcare · Application of information security principles to create best practices EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: · 7+ years of experience in information technology · 2+ years of experience in Information Security EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: · Bachelorâ™s degree LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED: · Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED: · Global Information Assurance Certification â“ General Security (GSEC) · ITIL Certification Summary: The Security Specialist Senior â“ Vulnerability Management position provides for the Confidentiality Integrity, and Availability of ADH Information Assets through the management of vulnerabilities. This position will work with multiple teams and stakeholders including Security Architecture, Security Engineering, Security Operations, Risk Management, as well as various technical teams to manage software and configuration vulnerabilities impacting ADH information assets. This position will be both a functional specialist and primary point of contact for the overall vulnerability management program. This will include the use and optimization of security platforms associated with the vulnerability management program as well as research and communication that addresses the categorization and prioritization of vulnerabilities. The Specialist is also responsible for the creation, coordination and sharing of reporting and metrics that measure the effectiveness of the vulnerability management program. This includes creation of executive dashboards, vulnerability metrics and operational level reports that measure both current posture and historical trends. The specialist must be comfortable working in a fast-pace and dynamic healthcare IT environment.
