The Senior Financial Analyst position supports system level operations through detailed financial planning, reporting, data analysis while applying advanced skills to improve the operational and financial effectiveness of the system. The Senior Financial Analyst extracts and validates data from various information sources and provides relevant information and recommendations to assist management in sound business decisions.

• Lead the preparation of system level ad hoc forecasts and external analysis. Drive the creation and maintenance of a long-range P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Models for forecasting & planning. Act as liaison between the Accounting and Treasury Teams to support Cash Flow Modeling. Collaborate with Treasury, Accounting, and Operations to ensure completeness and accuracy of the businesses being modeled. Ad hoc portfolio and (stressed) balance sheet analysis. Perform ongoing monitoring, sensitivity analysis, back testing and other ad hoc reviews of the model and output analysis.
• Use various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports.
• Preferred Specialties / Skills & Experience include: Advanced modeling skills Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement. Accounting and Financial Reporting including key ratio calculation and analysis. Comfortable with organizational complexity, high pressure environments and rapid change. Understanding of large healthcare system financials.
• Other duties as assigned, examples include: Support various information systems development, conversion and implementation tasks. Assist in the integration of new and acquired organizations. Provide financial analysis support or process improvement to other project teams. Partner with financial planning and analysis teammates to support operations and affiliates in forecasting and planning.

Required

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration

Experience

• 3-5 years and/or equivalent experience in accounting or finance related role.
