The Program Manager of Talent plays a critical role in the implementation and oversight of strategic talent planning throughout the CHRISTUS Health System. This individual will be responsible for ensuring company-wide alignment around Talent Strategies that includes project management, to address hospital staffing needs, retention, development, succession planning, and employment branding. The Program Manager will support both the Talent Acquisition and Talent Management team in addressing business needs by creating and managing programs that provide industry leading talent solutions. They will assist in bridging talent gaps with a commitment to excellence, diversity and consistency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works with leadership teams at all levels of the organization to design strategic talent planning sessions that address the unique needs of each ministry, which identify performance or growth opportunities, and recommends changes to talent initiatives.
• Works with leadership teams to draw key conclusions and strategic implications from industry, market and internal data to form fact-based conclusions for strategy development.
• Develops materials necessary for any talent strategy needs. Creating framework for local ministries to pilot programs
• Project Management - Responsible for managing talent strategic initiatives for assigned system and communicating outcomes to system leadership
• Training and support â€" can provide training and support if needed for any talent strategy framework created
• Support recruitment marketing and mobility projects, by ensuring alignment with the talent acquisition and mobility goals; translate goals into strategies and timely tactics to meet talent needs
• Leverage employee feedback and company culture, when translating solutions to support the company's overall succession strategy
• Using best practice teamed with practicality to identify business need for continuous improvement of the succession management program, reviewing periodically and recommending adjustment
• Partners with HR analytics and recruitment teams to assess sourcing channel performance and cost efficiency; revises sourcing strategies based on data/results.
• Acts as an employer brand ambassador and helps to drive talent interest in career opportunities. Assists talent acquisition team to generate and deliver content that promotes and supports CHRISTUS Health’s employment brand.
• Assist in developing and executing innovative sourcing strategies and campaigns aimed at generating quality candidates to meet the overall recruiting goals while always maintaining an emphasis on creating a diverse pool of talent.
• Builds, deploys, and tracks results of sourcing strategies and campaigns and regularly communicates this information to the Recruiting team.
• Collaborates and partners with Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, HR Business Partners, Nurse Leadership, and Hiring Managers to forecast staffing and market needs.
• Takes a thoughtful, customer-focused approach to talent requests and inquiries. Delivers a positive talent experience through continuous communication, follow-up, and engagement throughout the process.
• Creates a culture of innovation by taking the initiative to look for and suggest ways to continuously improve the talent strategy process and drive toward higher efficiency and quality.
• Provides customized meeting facilitation and talent strategic planning support for system special projects
