The Sitecore Developer is primarily responsible for supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of CHRISTUS Healthâ€™s external digital properties. The Developer collaborates extensively with an external vendor in creating web and mobile solutions. In addition to technical skills, a successful Developer is able to translate conceptual ideas into concrete tasks as well as translate business needs into technical requirements. Responsibilities include technical design, development, documentation and maintenance of digital properties and data integration between internal and external systems. The Developer ensures that all Sitecore development activity supports CHRISTUSâ€™ strategic goals.
Daily support and project based enhancements of Sitecore Experience Platform
Build, maintain, and troubleshoot new and existing web applications
Perform code reviews and deployments for general application bug fixes
Maintain a high proficiency level with system architectures, and database system models.
Contributes in all phases of the development lifecycle
Bachelorâ€™s degree in computer science or related field from an accredited college
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Familiar with Development and Support project lifecycle
Understanding of business and technical process interrelationships is essential
Extensive understanding of relational data modeling
Strong SQL skills
Organizational and project planning skills
Minimum 3 years Sitecore programming experience
5+ years of experience with .Net and C# development
