We are searching for a healthcare Data Warehouse Analyst/Developer to join the Center for Strategic Information Management's (CSIM) professional data warehouse and content development team. You will collaborate with Christiana's clinical and operations teams to understand their data and information needs, then develop and enhance Christiana's enterprise analytics warehouse to support them.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop your understanding of the varying data and information needs of a complex, multi-discipline health system and how the changes to US healthcare financing impacts organizational healthcare delivery and data needs.
Apply your understanding to further develop and customize a data warehouse to meet these needs using commercial ETL tools (Health Catalyst DoS tools, Microsoft SQL Server tools) to ingest new data sources and develop data marts to support business analytic needs.
In a team setting, operate and support the data warehouse including data integrations, access management, load balancing, performance, and operational monitoring, meta and master data management and advise your team on how to improve performance and reliability of the solution.
Develop subject specific data marts and utilize database servers appropriately to optimize end user BI performance.
Be assigned to work individual or in small teams on varied data warehouse and content development projects.
Participate in the development and implementation of evolving data warehouse practices, tools and processes including JSON and non-relational data, text data analysis and NLP, real time data integration, geospatial information, IOT data traffic.
Work closely with clinical analytic and project teams on performance improvement projects, understand analytic requirements, analyze results and prototype/iterate solutions in a team setting.
Listen to, advise, educate, and assist Christiana's analytics community supporting their successful use of the analytics warehouse.
Education and Experience Requirements:
BS degree in relevant technical or healthcare discipline.
SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) - competent to proficient
JSON, R, Python - exposure to competent
HL7, FHIR - exposure to competent
Health Catalyst DoS tool - any exposure a plus
Tableau / Qlik - exposure to competent
Excellent collaboration, organization and analytic abilities.
