In this key role, you will provide vision and leadership for our hospital system's business and financial reporting information systems. This will involve driving strategy and initiatives to support the diverse and unique data, statistical and analytical requirements of the Controller’s office, Budget Department, Reimbursement, Decision Support, CDM Team, Revenue Cycle, Revenue Capture, Cashiering Functions and other operational units. We’re looking to you to ensure our financial system and reporting needs are communicated effectively and meet and exceed expectations. You will:
·Act as principal liaison between Financial Services, ISS, and other strategic areas
·Ensure technologies and processes are delivered appropriately
·Provides leadership and coordination for all external department communications and training
·Drive efficiencies and improve effectiveness across the finance organization
·Actively engage constituents in order to successfully establish strategic project objectives
·Define and obtain required resources throughout project lifecycle
We’re seeking a highly motivated, results driven, quality-focused leader with:
·Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, finance or accounting – Master’s preferred
·Ten or more years of directly related experience, particularly in a healthcare environment
·Solid supervisory or management experience
·Strong project management and problem-solving skills
·Experience in data visualization report writing, preferably Tableau
·Proficiency with Microsoft office
·Knowledge of web-based application software systems
·Familiarity with SQL/Access databases
·Experience developing training materials and conducting classroom training
·In-depth knowledge of enterprise infrastructure and network technologies
·Working knowledge of UCLA software specific applications (e.g., EPIC, Lawson, EPSI) a plus
·Knowledge of medical billing, accounts receivables and collections applications highly desirable
