Responsible for leading the business development annual strategic and growth planning processes to support the growth of services and programs within assigned MHealth Service Lines. This role will work in collaboration with the Service Line dyad leadership team across assigned service lines, to develop clear strategic priorities and to create detailed tactical plans to meet growth objectives through financially and operationally sustainable plans. Conducts research and feasibility studies, evaluates legal issues and develops business planning models to evaluate new business opportunities and partnerships. Interfaces with metro area and out-state health systems and provider groups to develop strong business relationships and partnerships where appropriate. This position is a key role within the Service Line structure and will be required to work with key stakeholders across a complex matrixed multi-organizational structure.
Based in the Twin Cities Metro area, this position will require residency within proximity of the workplace. As this position offers some ability to telecommute, it is the expectation the following requirements of the remote work policy will be met, including but not limited to:

Leads Service Line planning and business development processes including development of SL annual operating and growth plan priorities, development of new program business cases, and initiating new provider and replacement provider business cases
Works with service line senior leadership to develop and execute on detailed tactical plans to meet approved growth objectives across MHealth Fairview and within the service lines.
Directs the development of standard and ad hoc market assessments to support SL and project specific needs including assessment of market dynamics, opportunities and threats, volume forecasts, competition and other market trends impacting MHealth Fairview volumes within the assigned service lines.
Identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities with health systems, private practice groups, and community partners to increase market share, patient capture, and brand awareness.
Identifies opportunities for new or expanded outreach efforts identifying specific geographies and partnering systems for growth. Partner with outreach team to coordinate outreach plans and efforts.
Partner with clinicians and industry to identify and operationalize breakthrough procedure and diagnostic technology. Conducts research and feasibility studies, evaluates legal issues and develops costing and other financial models to evaluate new opportunities and possible partnerships.
Establish innovative community partnerships that drive patient capture and brand awareness for the service line (ie. Payers, non-profits, sports teams, etc.).
Partners with SL Finance Directors for on-going monitoring of service-line initiatives and growth targets
Partner with academic faculty to align research priorities with clinical program development and assess which clinical programs will likely lead to academic and research success.
Bachelors Degree in business, finance, marketing, health administration, quantitative technical field or related area.
5+ years of experience in a health system, health consulting or planning role. Experience using analytic software and critical thinking skills
Experience with health care market analytics including triangulating and analyzing data from multiple market and internal data sources. Proven ability to work effectively across a matrixed health care environment with understanding of ambulatory and hospital based operations.
