The Senior Platform Developer is responsible for the development, implementation, performance, integrity, and security of custom applications. This role will support the planning and development of applications/solutions, as well as troubleshooting issues for end-users. Working with stakeholders, this role will understand and capture requirements and then design and create solutions to those problems in an agile environment.
Review project/product objectives and drive the organization towards preferred technology for implementation, recommending best practices and standards for development, build and deployment.
Drive transformation by building Microsoft Power App Enterprise-level solutions including data model creation, process automation, report and dashboard development, and system configuration.
Create functional and technical specifications and execute against a plan to develop, deploy, maintain and support applications.
Analyze requirements and lead the design of software solutions.
Develop code that reuses objects, is well structured, and is easy to maintain.
Collaborate with business customers to perform application testing needed to assure the desired functionality of the solutions meets the business requirements.
Work with internal and external developers to ensure code standards and best practices are implemented for development of applications.
Assist in creating end-user and technical documentation.
Lead planning and execution of development activities during the cutover and go-live phase of projects.
Assist in communicating new features released to users.
Enhance existing programs and systems to correct errors and provide new functions.
Provide rotational On-Call support.
Evolve the data infrastructure components to be more resilient, less error prone and more scalable.
Drive efficiencies in the business processes and technical support processes by implementing automation.
Communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written forms. Be able to present and demonstrate work to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to plan and work independently in a rapidly changing environment.
Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other relevant degree, or combination of equivalent work experience and education is required
5 years of Full Stack Developer Experience
5 years of C#/.NET development experience
5 years of relational database development and SQL experience
4 years of Azure development experience
4 years of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI development experience and expertise in solution creation
Excellent technical and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Experienced business process automation within Power Automation/Azure Logic App Service
Experience with source control tools such as Bitbucket, Azure Dev-ops, and Github
Experience with using API custom-connectors within PowerApps
Experience with the Agile methodology
Experience supporting database or system issues reported by helpdesk or business users
Experience with code and process documentation
Experience with ETL workspace in product engineering
Working knowledge of US healthcare domain
Experience with front end frameworks (React, Angular)
