Digital & Direct Marketing (DDM) is a hybrid fundraising team with both programatic fundraising goals executed through direct mail and digital campaigns as well as functional responsibilities to support the digital marketing needs of the Development team at large. This is accomplished through data analysis, thoughtful and strategic donor communications, content development and well-integrated multichannel fundraising that include direct mail, email, social media crowdfunding, and peer-to-peer fundraising. The Program Manager's primary role will be to execute digital fundraising and marketing plans for both the programatic and functional responsibilities of the team. As the online fundraising hub for VUMC Development, this team collaborates across all VUMC development teams and with key partners in VUMC Strategic Marketing, and VUMC News and Communications.
Under the supervision of the Director of Digital and Direct Marketing, the Program Manager has responsibilities to help the team move digital fundraising and marketing initiatives forward for Vanderbilt University Medical Center including Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center and Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
Work cross functionally within the Development team to execute digital marketing plans for upcoming fundraising campaigns and events across digital platforms.
Facilitate monthly social media posting schedule and strategically curate and repurpose social content
Assist Director in the creation and distribution of video, photo and written content to effectively share brand story and captivate new donors
Build and update fundraising campaigns within online donation platform, Classy, by collecting pertinent campaign information and customizing donation page, crowdfunding, peer-to-peer and event campaign brand templates.
Act as point of contact for online peer-to-peer and crowdfunding users; execute follow-up communications and support those who have recently created online fundraising pages to utiize best practices in reaching their fundraising goals.
Assist DDM team with analytics, trackable links and reporting metrics to measure digital efforts across platforms.
Support both the Corporate and Community Development teams to organize the fundraising event calendar and maximize exposure for fundraising partners.
Work alongside Strategic Communications team to collect and curate monthly marketing content for review and distribution across the Hospital's digital properties.
Assist members of the Digital & Direct Marketing team as needed.
