Supports the strategic vision of the Director of Content Strategy.
Develops and elevates social media and reputation management staff, including recruiting, training, mentoring, and supervision.
Leads social media strategies and execution to develop brand awareness and grow our social following and audience engagement.
Develops, oversees and manages the social media calendar as well as organic and paid growth campaigns
Collaborate with the Content Strategy department to create a shared vision and optimize content strategy across platforms and audiences.
Creates compelling social campaigns and partnerships that combine content with influencer collaborations and expand our reach in the markets we support.
Tracks and generates campaign performance reports by analyzing metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategies, report findings, and reassess campaign strategy based on results.
Guides social media staff in delivering strategic online content to promote products/brands and services online for all social channels.
Collaborates with leadership across the organization to manage the strategic planning, implementation, analysis, and optimization of content for all social channels and campaigns.
Manages social media and reputation management platforms, audits, analyses, and migrations across multiple digital platforms.
Ensures education on and adherence to brand standards, digital brand standards, style guides and approved messaging for all digital content.
Establishes and/or maintains editorial standards and accuracy/quality of content.
Monitors and updates the status of social jobs assigned on a daily basis and communicate progress to leadership.
Defines, establishes and manages social media and reputation management metrics to measure the effectiveness of content solutions including: ROI, content/brand integrity, content accuracy and relevance, efficiencies gained in content lifecycle improvements.
Evaluates efforts and determines resources (e.g. staffing, vendors, costs) needed for future success.
Displays high competency in project management, working in a fast-paced and complex environment, execution of large projects, and working under multiple and competing deadlines.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Marketing, Business, Communications or English) and 5-8 years of experience in Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, or Digital Marketing
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Windows Applications: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Excellent skills in Facebook Business Manager, social media and reputation management platforms
The Social Media Manager will oversee strategy and daily operations of Adventist Health System’s strategic imperative of “Engage the Consumer” across social media and reputation platforms. This role leads the Social Media and Reputation Management teams from curation to execution and crisis/ issue management for all social platforms.
The core responsibility is to ensure the successful execution of a unified company-wide social editorial calendar by providing structure and process to make social content more efficient while delivering increased audience engagement. This position works directly with our local marketing partners, located at our facilities, focused on creating content that align with their local marketing campaigns.
This role will ensure that social media policies and procedures are in place and is responsible for developing best practices for digital execution, monitoring, and driving results. This role is for someone with a deep knowledge of social media platforms, a proven track record building and engaging audiences through both organic and paid outreach as well as experience with social media listening and crisis management.
