You Will Be Responsible For:
Completes components of processes relative to project plans, data output to develop and maintain technical databases to support the Forms Approval Process.
Performs analysis of forms project needs and maintains software application/ tracking needs for WFD.
Collects, compiles, and manages WFD forms database to facilitate the tracking of forms approval in a manner that is timely to the customers satisfaction, within budgetary constraints.
Provides input into Epic project planning and determines in collaboration with the IS Change Management team, the prioritization of form requests and data necessary to meet electronic documentation capture for the health care team.
Communicates, collaborates, educates and acts as a team player with others in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services relative to Legal Medical Record forms development.
Assumes personal responsibility for professional growth, development, and continuing education to maintain a high level of proficiency.
Maintains the confidentiality of employees, patients, administrative staff and medical staff information with no infractions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need:
Associate degree in Education, Business Administration, Healthcare or related field OR
Five years equivalent experience in Education and/or hospital-based Revenue Cycle, with specific emphasis in Health Information Management/ (HIM) Coding and/or education.
Prefer a bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Healthcare or related field, OR
Prefer five years of Education and/or Revenue Cycle Management Experience with focus in HIM/Coding
CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) – ATD (Association for Talent Development) Certification or other Education related certificate
Train the Trainer, or Training Certificate
Experience and expertise with multiple software packages.
Superior prioritization skills, including ability to manage an array projects and deadlines
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information and education to all levels of employees from front line to senior management
Strategic minded with an ability to collaborate with department and project leaders to anticipate needs and develop effective education plans
Ability to proactively prepare for and react effectively to the changing healthcare environment
Results oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic, project-oriented environment
Self-motivated, detail oriented, strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
Computer skills to include MS Office Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint, OneNote and Windows operating system, Internet, and ability to navigate through electronic health record systems
Ability to work in systems used for education and policy development purposes such as Visio, Adobe Standard/Acrobat/Pro, and Captivate.
The PRN Forms Technical Analyst, under the general supervision of the Health Information Regional Manager, is responsible for the strategic management of the software/data needs and technical services for the approval and Medical Record Forms Management for the HIM West Florida Tampa Region. This position is responsible, in collaboration with the Information Services (Informatics Staff) to work closely with clinical areas and printing department/vendor for standardization of forms and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Actively participates in outstanding customer service & accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
