MSK is excited to be recruiting a Director, Physician Communications who is proficient in marketing strategy, content development, and campaign management. This person will have strong skills in developing marketing plans/strategies, project management, campaign management and writing copy. Combining those skills with strong data/analytical thinking and an understanding of and ability to write for a physician audience.
Reporting to our Sr. Director, Physician Communications/Engagement, you will:
Spearhead marketing strategies and campaigns for an external physician audience.
Build relationships with key clinical leadership and help support content and campaign initiatives.
Identify new channels and opportunities to engage external physicians with content and marketing efforts.
Collaborate with Physician Relations team on tracking, understanding and nurturing the external physician engagement with MSK.
Develop campaigns and strategies to support international marketing and strategic partner priorities.
Create physician-facing content and build a content calendar aligned with strategic campaigns and priorities.
Design metrics for strategies and campaigns to ensure continuous improvement and knowledge-building on what is working and what is not.
Act as a subject matter expert in identifying opportunities to expand engagement with physician audiences through MSKs digital properties.
Exceptional writing, verbal and presentation skills.
Strong project management and content development skills
Knowledge of a variety of content formats (e.g. multimedia, including audio, video, images and infographics) and how to leverage to engage physician audiences.
Experience using data sets, able to draw meaningful informational insights and communicate information to internal and external partners.
Genuine enthusiasm for the healthcare industry, cancer care, research, education, and MSKs mission.
Expertise at building formal and informal networks inside and outside the organization to further departmental and institutional goals.
7-10+ years related experience, preferably with healthcare-related organizations.
Collaborative nature, with experience working in large, matrixed organizations beneficial.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and apps.
Comfort with digital marketing and communications tools, online professional networking platforms, and B2B engagement tools.
