Cycle for Survival is seeking a passionate, hardworking, and highly motivated Associate Director to lead its Recruitment & Fundraising team . As the events world continues to rebound from the pandemic, the Associate Director, Fundraising Events will play a key role in setting the vision and collaboratively creating the strategy for Cycle for Survival.
Create, lead, and oversee the national recruitment and fundraising efforts for Cycle for Survival, while developing the strategic vision for the future of the program
Initiate, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of donors and the programs highly engaged participants
Manage three individuals, overseeing a larger team of 12 Market Managers, supporting their training, development, and career growth
Supervise solicitations of Senior Managers and their teams to promote donor retention and increased giving
Work with Strategy Lead to leverage data, trends, and participant behaviors to identify business opportunities for growth, improvement, and program optimization
Motivate team to reach participation, retention, and fundraising goals by continuously evaluating various metrics and KPIs
Partner with the Events Production and Communications team to create thoughtful communications and exceptional event experiences
A bachelors degree or relevant experience, with a minimum of 7-10 years of related experience
A background in fundraising and direct solicitation of five-to-six figure gifts
Experience working on national peer-to-peer fundraising events is preferred
At least 4 years in a management role with proven success in leading a team
Willingness to travel for constituent visits, presentations, and events in the future as determined to be safe and necessary
