The Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH) Senior Market Research Consultant is responsible for the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of assigned projects including source of data, documentation of methodology, and explanation of data coding; Responsible for selecting the appropriate research methodology and supporting techniques to meet a defined business objective; Works closely with vendors, Director Market Research & Analysis, BSWH and hospital leadership. The Consultant also works closely with BSWH hospital marketing directors and BSWH service line leadership ensuring the successful execution of the fieldwork. Upon completion, the Market Research Consultant Senior reviews the collected data, author’s reports and makes business-oriented recommendations to the sponsoring client.
The Senior Market Research Consultant can expect to perform the following:
Act as the interface and project lead for market research team conducting meetings with clients across the BSWH including senior leadership, marketing leadership, directors and hospital leadership. Confirm project goal, objectives, project details and project kick-off.
Communicate regularly with BSWH marketing directors and other system and hospital leadership on matters concerning project status, product enhancements and other client relations requirements.
Follow-up with clients to discuss final analysis and determine if additional research may be needed.
Act as the interface with BSWH market research vendors, partners and data suppliers such as National Research Corporation (NRC), Thompson Reuters (Medstat), DFW Hospital Council, CPM, as well as other potential outsourcing partners.
Plan, and assist and sometimes lead presentations of marketing research, reports, and recommendations to BSWH Marketing Executives, Directors and BSWH leadership.
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of the healthcare market and of local
and regional competitors. Notifies Hospital Marketing Directors of changes in the market.
Assist in primary market research involving online panels, survey design and coordinating focus groups.
Assist in monitoring Consumer Relationship Marketing (CRM) initiatives with CRM vendor for tracking return on investment and downstream revenue.
Collect, analyze and abstract marketing data for use in marketing studies and
plans; assign data collection, analysis, and abstracting work to designated staff.
Create reports, graphics, and maps for BSWH and hospital leadership, Hospital Marketing Directors and Staff. Assigns reports, graphics, and map production work to staff.
Work with various databases to support assigned projects.
Maintain files on assigned projects including source of data, documentation of
Methodology, and explanation of data coding.
The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point), strong analytic skills as well as strong verbal, creative thinking and written communication skills.
