Leads and coordinate activities in the Operations Excellence workstream including project management, project activation, stakeholder alignment and operational design and transformation
Leads workstream deliverables, manage workstream project plan, status report, resources, issues, etc.; Monitor, quality review, and approve team deliverables
Participates in status review meetings with Finance Operations project management and provides timely feedback to team
Responsible for end-to-end design, delivery, and facilitation of transformation, project activation, providing strategic advice, tactical support, risk identification, escalation and mitigation
Provides an integrated/holistic view across projects and programs assigned and/or impacting assigned projects and transformation initiatives in order to influence portfolio timing, project deliverable timing and execution
Leads and support strategy, structured methodology, and activities across the project to include but not limited to:
o Project management of portfolio of approved and coordinated transformation projects, incremental and project stakeholder engagement
o Initiative tracking and project management design across facilities, regions, and departments aligned to project strategy
o Stakeholder and change impact identification and mitigation
o Initiative transition support for all user / stakeholder groups
o Identification and coordination of technological accelerators, clarification and mapping
o Leadership and stakeholder engagement and alignment
Defines priorities, resources, roles, and responsibilities for team efforts; Actively coaches team members
Ensures linkages with other team activities; Participates in project team meetings; Serves as a liaison between operations excellence team and other teams in the area of question/issue resolution
Facilitates and coordinate communication with key internal stakeholders, to include, but not limited, functional and technical project teams, data security, project management, training, communications, and functional corporate departments
Participates in the development and maintenance of the overall Operations Excellence strategy; Supports the elements of the overall strategy and the facility-specific readiness needs for which immediate team is not lead
Consults and coaches facility leaders and project leaders on readiness preparation, execution of methodology, and leveraging existing best practices
Defines and measures success metrics and monitors change process within Operations Excellence work plan
What You Will Need:
Master’s degree in related field of study
Certification related to change management
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, Project Management tools, and Change Management.
Possesses strong understanding of how people go through change and the change process
Ability to facilitate meetings and discussions with executives and directors across multiple levels of the organization
Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences and work effectively at all levels in an organization
Possesses strong skills in the area of communication, organization, prioritization, and managing multiple priorities within tight deadlines
Proficiency in leading others through influence and relationship building
Ability to operate in a highly complex and matrixed environment with multiple priorities
The Director of Operations Excellence within the financial operations department is responsible for developing and executing the strategy for operational excellence through change management, organizational design, process design improvement, and change communications as needed to support the organizational objectives aligned with AdventHealth’s transformational projects as assigned.
The Director is responsible for leading a team and work to ensure the team collaborates with technical and functional project teams, shared services operation teams, and other corporate departments as needed to ensure successful realization of the transformation project at hand. The Director will lead a team focused on the transformative aspect of assigned initiatives and will be instrumental in creating conditions for a smooth transition to changes with least resistance from the end users while maximizing enthusiasm to adapt to the change.
Position is within a large-scale implementation project with tight deadlines and competing priorities. Individual leads team responsible for planning for readiness activities, assessing change impacts, communicating changes, and working with facility stakeholders to consult and execute on readiness plans.
