In addition to performing meaningful work, this position provides growth through mentor relationships and focused developmental activities. This Internship is a paid position. Pay rates vary based on level of education and/or prior experience.The incumbent is matched with opportunities in a variety of application delivery and project support areas. Assignments may include planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, documentation, delivery, and support in several different parts of our IT organization such as Clinical Informatics, Database Administration, Enterprise Systems, E-Business, Enterprise Applications, and Web Development. In addition to a supervisor, who focuses on the job duties and performance, a mentor is assigned to support professional development, which includes goal-setting, individual development planning and performance feedback. Minimum Requirements:Education/Licenses/Certifications: Must be enrolled in an Information Technology, Clinical Informatics or related major with at least sophomore standing. Must have at least one quarter/semester remaining after completion of internship. (Students with an Associate's Degree may complete their internship before beginning a Bachelor's Degree program.)Strong preference given to students with a cumulative overall GPA of at least 3.0.Intern I: Associate's Degree student with sophomore standing.Intern II: Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program with minimum junior standing or recently completed an Associate's degree and planning to enroll in a Bachelor's program.
