Schedule: Full Time
Shift: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Location: Supporting all Centra Cares in Florida, North Carolina, and Kansas
The role you’ll contribute:
Under the direction of the Director of Operations and Education, our Non-Clinical Field Trainer provides training and mentoring for front-line, non-clinical, staff members. Supports on-going training by assisting with developing/nurturing mission-minded team members; implementing/sustaining registration best practices; and all other trainings geared to support and ensure excellent customer care and patient safety standards. Assists Educators with training new staff in the home office and in the field (may require out of state travel). Available to work shifts as needed in the centers when not training. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Must be highly engaged in establishing the Centra Care Culture in new market regions.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Partners with system Educators and coordinates training schedules and training for new hires
- Support Educators with ongoing training for all front-end staff, to include but not limited to: System training, Customer Service training, Insurance training, report training, banking training, posting training, eligibility verification, reconciliation, etc. Onsite visits for ongoing training.
- Under the direction of the Education leader, monitors the new team members growth/development for the first 90 days.
- Assist with trainings to improve upfront collections, accuracy report, and other fiscal related goals impacted by front desk accuracy in registering patients
- Works with Educators to review registration errors and places action plans into place to assure steps are taken to eliminate any misunderstanding on how to input data into current system.
QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Minimum qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of training experience in a healthcare environment
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable form of transportation.
- Preferred qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in adult learner education/teaching experience
- Project Management experience
