SUMMARY: The Applications Analyst reports primarily to the Manager of Applications, Information Technology Services. Primary responsibilities will include application system support of assigned computer applications and projects. This support requires knowledge of application functionality, database and configuration parameters and integration of applications with other systems. This position works collaboratively with ITS Applications Coordinators and Leads to provide system support and project implementation such as screen building, database design and build, data entry, testing, training and follow-up. Applications analysts will participate in cross functional communications, meetings, and projects to promote hospital objectives for the purpose of providing patient care.
REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED, Associate's Degree preferred. Must have a minimum of two years of Information Technology related work experience. Four years of IT healthcare related experience is preferred. Excellent written and oral communication as well as the ability to work independently with excellent time management is required. Possible overnight and weekend on-call coverage could be required.
