The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for extracting data from multiple internal data systems, reshaping and standardizing the information, and performing strategic analysis to gain baseline information and discover previously unseen insights. The Sr Data and Business Intelligence Strategist supports the Talent Strategy team on various team projects including: connecting disjointed data for the purpose of building knowledge from generated information; structuring data on implemented talent acquisition marketing strategies, as well as reporting results on those strategies; establishing systems to track candidates from recruiting strategy campaigns as they make their way through the hiring process; supporting workforce planning by designing systems to gather and process workforce data; utilizing knowledge of AdventHealth internal processes to innovate improvements to current data systems; creating data solutions for multiple other internal departments. The Sr Data and Business Intelligence Strategist will create business intelligence visualizations that provide clear explanations of data to leadership and peers, including dashboards, written explanations, and other presentations. The Sr Data and Business Intelligence Strategist will lend expertise on supporting software such as CRM, Taleo, and PowerBI usage. The role will identify future challenges and develop solutions to overcome those challenges.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Demonstrates working knowledge of multiple AdventHealth Reporting Systems to extract and combine necessary raw data.
- Eliminates reporting inconsistencies by transforming raw data into standardized units.
- Implements Business Intelligence techniques to help leaders visualize baseline information for AdventHealth data.
- Applies programming languages (R/DAX/Power Query M, etc.) to data, adding additional layers of statistics to baseline data.
- Automates data refreshes and other daily tasks using Power Automate and other technology tools.
- Utilizes working knowledge of available software tools to build front end systems enabling external AdventHealth departments to submit, request, and query data.
- Synthesizes insights from internal business functions and transforms them into action that contributes to the objectives of Talent Strategy.
- Shares with Talent Strategy leaders’ insights to enable effective decision making.
- Identifies roadblocks to achieving technological change and develops solutions and work arounds.
- Research existing and future technologies to innovate current reporting systems.
QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Strong understanding of programming languages (R/DAX/Power Query M, SQL)
- Strong knowledge of database systems
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in marketing, human resources, communications, or related field.
- Experience serving as a resource for external teams
- Strong understanding of social media and digital/cloud-based technology systems.
- Understanding of web development principles HTML/CCS.
- Advance computer skills with a strong knowledge of Office365.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of staff - executives and management as well as external contacts
- Strong intellectual curiosity and motivation to master analytical skills.
