- Help develop a brand new $150 million community hospital and medical office building that will provide services such as Emergency Services, Medical/Surgical, ICU, Women’s Services, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Interventional Cardiology and Gastroenterology.

The role you’ll contribute:
A non-exempt position responsible for performing all patient data collection, charge entry, communication with patients, venders, and public also to assist in the delivery of patient care by obtaining medical information, assisting in basic room preparation, assisting with in office procedures and maintaining patient, physician, and clinic communication. This position requires the Certified Medical Assistant to be trained and perform both front office and clinical office responsibilities. This position is hired with the intention of floating to different offices to meet the patients’ and physicians’ needs.

- Responsible for assisting in delivering patient care and performs back office duties.
- Obtains vital signs.
- Records vital values and a brief history in the chart.
- Prepares the patient for the exam by the physician.
- Administers injections.
- Draws blood and performs laboratory tests.
- Assists in office surgery and procedures.
QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Completion of and education program for preparing medical assistants
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of clinic experience preferred
- Current Medical Assistant certification
- BLS Certification within first 30 days of employment
