Overview
St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking a Planning Business Partner to join our Planning team.
Position Summary
The St. Luke's Planning team is tasked with supporting the creation and updating of St. Luke's strategic, enterprise and operating business plans aligned to the mission, vision and strategic objectives of St. Luke's. The Planning team is responsible for the maturity and development of the capabilities delivered through the core competencies of:
- Market intelligence: gather and socialize information on market trends and shifts in competitive landscape impacting the communities that St. Luke's serves
- Integrated business planning: partner cross functionally across clinical and operational areas of the health system to optimize system planning
- Decision support: provides performance data to support timely, data driven decision making
The Business Partner serves as a strategic partner to functional areas within the organization to provide strategic direction in the development of a framework to assess and mature performance within governance, portfolio management, benefits realization, and/or communication/change management processes. This role provides an opportunity to interface with senior and executive management across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Organizes and manages logistics of the annual, mid-term and long-term business planning and system wide strategy updates
- Analyzes and builds recommendations to address integration of process, gaps in processes and understanding across the organization related to Planning
- Capture and share key takeaways and action items with planning stakeholders and monitor progress of team deliverables
- Act as a sounding board to validate that planning activities are properly aligned and optimized to deliver on the planning team's objectives
- Collaborates with Operational and Clinical Integration Excellence to integrate methodologies, create and maintain workflows and standard operating procedures and document interaction models
- Develops and manages strong and significant stakeholder relationships with Finance, Capital, Governance, and other senior leaders to support integration and alignment across the enterprise
- Responsible for analyzing, documenting, and maintaining standard operating procedures and related training for Planning processes, including current to future state analysis to improve efficiencies
- Prepares system wide strategy updates supporting the Strategic Advisory Council efforts under the direction of the Planning Director
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications or related field; or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Experience: 6 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- Experience understanding and presenting data
- Process development and mapping
- Change management
