AHS is seeking a Full Time Patient Care Technician to work 36 hours per week, 7P-7A including every other weekend.

The essential functions of this position includes; assisting patients with activities of daily living; obtaining and recording vital signs, weights and heights; assisting patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activities; performing post mortem care; measuring and recording I & O; performing EKG's, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoring; observing and reporting changes in patients' condition to the RN; maintaining phlebotomy equipment and inventory and all other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Healthcare Provider Course within six months required.
• Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with other members of the Care Center.
• 6 months prior healthcare experience with patient care experience preferred.
• BLS required.
• PCT certification preferred
