The Data Analyst is responsible for analysis of financial reports, trend and opportunities. Duties include gathering, interpreting and evaluating financial information; generating forecasts and analyzes data from the available reports and IT tools; creating financial models for pharmacy management team in support of planning during budgeting and assessment of productivity. Support Pharmacy Management Team in pharmacy billing, data collection, analytics and track pharmacy operations Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Act as a liaison between pharmacy operations and Patient Financial Services
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
Gathers, analyzes, prepares, and summarizes data for financial plans, trended future requirements, operating budget forecasting, etc.
Analyzes and tracks department financial performance. Responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing finical concepts for financial planning and control.
Creates informational queries from pertinent databases for assistance in drug therapy outcomes.
Prepares graphs of workload and tracks workload by area on a daily basis during peak workload, Supports outcome study analysis by providing analysis and reports of data collections
Works collaboratively with MHS Patient Financial Services (PFS), acts as liaison between Pharmacy Operations and PFS.
Completes interdepartmental charging in a timely and accurate manner.
