Overview
St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join our St. Luke's Health Partners team.
Position Summary
St. Luke's Health Partners (Health Partners) is a wholly owned subsidiary of St. Luke's Health System, and a financially and clinically integrated network of providers improving the health outcomes of the population and lowering the cost of care. Health Partners is looking for an experienced population health analytical manager capable of leading a team of professionals in the identification of medical expense management, clinical, and utilization improvement opportunities. Candidate should also be familiar with medical coding, with a solid understanding of the various healthcare data sets, including, but not limited to HCPCS, ICD-10, and CPT and the claims adjudication process. Candidates should be experienced in the visualization of metrics via dashboards and scorecards, and be capable of supporting the team in identifying trends or anomalies. Candidates should have the ability to leverage data from various sources. This position can be remote.
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership and key support on multiple projects. May manage & lead cross-functional teams.
- Influences, maintains, and directs population health activities to support business and client needs.
- Consults with users or decision-makers, and guides team members, to understand business needs, data sources, required data elements, and areas of opportunity to add value to the organization. Surfaces opportunities for value-based initiative
- Provides subject matter expertise for all things population health, including providing insight and expertise to be leveraged in value-based arrangement contracting decisions, identification of opportunities within populations, and product positioning in the market.
- Guides development and informs on business processes to produce dashboards, reports, metrics, key operational/performance insights, and identify trends or anomalies.
- Supports other population health analytics initiatives, including risk-adjustment coding, medical expense management, member attribution, risk stratification, readmissions, utilization management, and low-acuity emergency department visits.
- Oversees the development of training plans and materials and delivers training for the end user.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance or related field.
- Experience: 8 years Leadership, Finance and/or Accounting experience.
