Position Summary: As a member of the Client Services team, the Senior Analyst serves as a key IT resource for facility implementation, optimization, and solutions/support. The Senior Analyst works under the guidance of the Manager, Client Services to perform their duties. Primary responsibilities include assisting organizations with IT activities, second level support to resolve incidents, and participation in new install, upgrade/SU, and/or new module/application testing and implementation. This individual works with other team members and our facilities to deliver training as needed, and to implement standardization, utilization, integration and optimization plans. The Senior Analyst is expected to serve as the single point of accountability for a few complex projects at any given point in time. The Senior Analyst is expected to spend time within our facilities and critical areas to maintain a firm understanding of operations to ensure development of and solutions implemented solve the core ask/issue. Principal AccountabilitiesLeads various initiatives linked to assigned technology and/or process improvements Provides incident/issue support through data gathering Works to troubleshoot and resolve Advanced Tier 2 application-specific issue build/fixes Ability to complete very complex application build/fixes Advanced knowledge in at least one Epic module Basic knowledge in at least two other Epic modules Manages projects and requests in primary application Provides detailed issue resolution documentation and trains colleagues on those solutionsParticipates in module/application testing, and implementation Participates in software update testing Produces detailed build documentation and functional test scripts Completes test script updates Mentors team members with less industry and/or technical experience in advanced application concepts Provides input on policies and procedures, training, and best practices.Present system configuration changes at Change Management meetings Conduct presentations in front of large groups including operational leadership and industry peers/executivesDemonstrates system design, configuration, and functionality that proactively meets the needs of our various partners and stakeholders Works with team members and facilities to deliver advanced integrated training as needed Works with team members and facilities to actively promote and support standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization plans for applications Communicates challenges or trends to leadership team to assist in business development process Escalates relevant issues to the leadership team in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements: Epic Proficiency with Certification level scores within first 3 months in role Microsoft Office Proficiency Professional experience in the information services and/or health care industries Epic Application Certification/Accreditation/Proficiency preferred
Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesRequired Proficiency, accreditation, or certification in at least 1 Epic Application Working knowledge of at least 2 additional Epic Applications Experience with Incident Management/Tracking Systems Experience with application workflows Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships across multiple clients and vendors Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders both verbally and in writing Strong ability to multi-task, and execute on new initiatives Ability to express technical knowledge clearly Ability to absorb technical knowledge quickly Demonstrated customer service-oriented skills Ability to work independently on tasks and projects Effective time management skills, critical, and creative thinking Demonstrated teaching abilities Demonstrated advanced computer skills Preferred In-depth understanding of clinical operations and processes Experience with at least one healthcare organization Education/Licenses/Certifications: BA/BS in computer science/information technology, healthcare administration, or related field.
