Overview

St. Luke's Health System in Meridian is seeking a Finance Analyst 2 to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team.

This position offers a hybrid schedule, working remotely and in office each week.

Position SummaryUnder general supervision,the Finance Analyst 2, performs specialized financial, accounting or planning activities following general project or departmental guidelines, procedures and precedents in support of various financial functions.

Responsibilities

• Creates, maintains, and oversees the collection of data and preparation of reports to analyze financial data.
• Develops and processes financial reports for forecasting, trending and result analysis.
• Assists in preparation of special studies, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, and business forecasts.
• Monitors budget expenditures and prepare written reports and analysis.
• Performs moderately complex statistical, cost and financial analysis of data reported.
• Documents revenues and expenditures expected and submits to management.
• Provides functional and technical direction to other staff members.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience: 3 years experience in the field or related area.
• Licenses/Certifications: None

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in cost analytics
